1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SnapEm mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the effective date of the most recent update at the top of this document.

2. About SnapEm

SnapEm is a free mobile puzzle game designed for entertainment purposes. The App allows users to play shape-fitting puzzle levels where they place, rotate, flip, and arrange puzzle pieces into a grid before the timer runs out.

SnapEm may include levels, timers, hints, scores, stars, streaks, completion times, themes, daily puzzles, local gameplay history, and other game progression features.

SnapEm does not involve real-money gambling, wagering, betting, cash prizes, or any form of financial transaction.

3. Eligibility

SnapEm is intended for general audiences and is suitable for all ages. By using the App, you represent that:

You are at least 13 years of age, or that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian if you are under 13;
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction; and
Your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their children’s use of the App. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

4. Licence to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use SnapEm on a mobile device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
Use the App for any commercial purpose or in any way that is not expressly permitted by these Terms;
Use bots, scripts, automation tools, hacks, cheats, or other unfair methods to manipulate gameplay results, stars, scores, streaks, completion times, hints, level progress, or rewards;
Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair progress within the App;
Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the App; or
Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App, our systems, or any third-party services used by the App.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, code, sounds, animations, gameplay elements, puzzle layouts, themes, names, logos, and other elements of SnapEm are the exclusive property of Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 98 of 1978 of South Africa and international copyright treaties.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Your use of the App does not grant you any right, title, or interest in or to the App or its content beyond the limited licence set out in Section 4.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

6.1 In-App Advertising

SnapEm is free to use and is supported by advertising. The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Ads may appear during your use of the App, including banner ads, interstitial ads, or rewarded ads where available.

By using SnapEm, you acknowledge and agree to the display of such advertisements.

6.2 Google AdMob

SnapEm uses Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. AdMob may collect and use certain data from your device, including device identifiers, in order to serve personalised or non-personalised advertisements.

Google’s data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy, available at:

We do not control the content of advertisements served by AdMob. We are not responsible for any third-party websites, products, services, or offers that may be accessed through advertisements displayed in the App.

6.3 App Tracking Transparency on iOS

On iOS devices, the App may request permission to track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework.

You may choose to allow or decline tracking. If you decline, the App will continue to function normally, but you may receive non-personalised advertisements instead.

6.4 Rewarded Ads

SnapEm may include optional rewarded advertisements. Rewarded ads may allow users to access non-cash in-app benefits, such as hints, extra time, retries, theme previews, or other gameplay-related rewards.

Rewarded ad benefits have no real-money value and cannot be exchanged for cash, goods, services, or any financial benefit.

We do not guarantee that rewarded ads will always be available, load successfully, or grant rewards in every circumstance, including where an ad is interrupted, unavailable, skipped, or affected by network or technical issues.

6.5 No In-App Purchases

SnapEm does not currently offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid features, or real-money purchases. The App is entirely free to use.

If this changes in the future, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, explains how information is handled when you use SnapEm. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

SnapEm does not require you to create an account. We do not directly collect your name, email address, or personal identifying information through the App.

Gameplay history, settings, scores, stars, level progress, streaks, hints used, completion times, daily puzzle progress, and theme preferences may be stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Data collected by third-party services such as Google AdMob is subject to their respective privacy policies.

For a full description of how data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy, available on our website and within the App.

8. Gameplay, Levels, Scores, and Accuracy

SnapEm is designed for entertainment purposes and is intended to test puzzle-solving, spatial reasoning, speed, focus, and pattern recognition through mobile gameplay.

The App may display level progress, completion times, scores, stars, streaks, daily puzzle results, hints used, and other performance-related results.

These results are for entertainment and self-improvement purposes only.

We do not guarantee that timers, scores, saved progress, star ratings, level results, or other gameplay results will be perfectly accurate, uninterrupted, or consistent across all devices. Results may be affected by device model, screen size, touch response, operating system, battery settings, background activity, display latency, app interruptions, network issues, or other technical factors outside our control.

SnapEm’s puzzle logic is designed for casual gameplay and entertainment. It is not intended to be scientifically precise, professionally certified, educationally accredited, or suitable for any purpose beyond casual use.

9. Puzzle Solvability and Game Progress

SnapEm is designed so that levels are solvable and puzzle pieces can fit into the grid according to the rules of the game. However, we do not guarantee that the App will be completely free from bugs, design errors, technical issues, display errors, or gameplay interruptions.

If a level, puzzle, hint, timer, reward, or placement behaves unexpectedly due to a bug or technical issue, we may correct the issue in a future update.

We are not liable for lost progress, failed levels, missed rewards, incorrect hints, timer interruptions, or other gameplay issues caused by bugs, device limitations, network interruptions, or third-party service failures.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SnapEm is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
That the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, bug-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components;
That puzzle levels, hints, timers, scores, or saved progress will always function perfectly;
That advertisements or rewarded ads will always be available or work correctly;
That any defects in the App will be corrected; and
That the results obtained from use of the App will be accurate, reliable, or consistent across all devices.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, SnapEm.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Loss of local gameplay history;
Loss of scores, stars, streaks, levels, themes, hints, completion times, or daily puzzle progress;
App interruptions;
Ad interruptions;
Rewarded ad failures;
Technical errors;
Device issues;
Puzzle bugs;
Timer inaccuracies; or
Any inaccuracies in gameplay results.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to use the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, which in the case of a free app is zero.

This limitation of liability does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 of South Africa or any other applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with:

Your use of the App in violation of these Terms;
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation;
Your misuse of the App or attempts to manipulate gameplay results;
Your use of cheats, bots, scripts, hacks, or other unauthorised tools; or
Your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SnapEm at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

Upon termination, the licence granted to you under Section 4 will immediately cease.

Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15 shall survive any termination of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by the competent courts of South Africa, to whose jurisdiction you irrevocably submit.

If you are a consumer resident in South Africa, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

15. App Store Terms

SnapEm is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant app store from which you downloaded it.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the applicable app store terms, the app store terms shall prevail to the extent of the conflict.

Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and bear no responsibility for the App or its content. Any claims relating to the App must be directed to Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd, not to Apple or Google.

16. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue SnapEm, or any part thereof, at any time, with or without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

We may release updates to the App from time to time. Depending on the update, you may not be able to use the App until you have downloaded and installed the latest version.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rufino Group (Pty) Ltd with respect to SnapEm and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings between you and us relating to the subject matter hereof.
